Our Beginning:

Miedema Auctioneering Inc was incorporated in 1987. Founded by Sid Miedema, Sr., Sid Miedema, Jr., and Scott Miedema, Miedema Auctioneering Inc. has worked diligently to develop a reputation for honesty, integrity and conducting successful auction sales and appraisals.

Sid Miedema, Jr, who became an auctioneer in 1984, is the President and co-owner of the company. Scott Miedema, is the Vice President and co-owner and also a licensed auctioneer. MAI benefits from a qualified team of experienced, full-time auction specialists who make sure the auctions are effectively marketed, conducted smoothly, accurately accounted for & closed out promptly, all while achieving the best possible prices.

Miedema Auctioneering Inc travels throughout the US conducting auctions and appraisals. Our team conducts over 350 auctions and appraisals annually, primarily across the Midwestern United States with contacts developed across the globe.

Miedema Auctioneering Inc has specialized divisions for Real Estate, Online, Construction, Industrial/Commercial, Agricultural, Marine and other business liquidations. Each division is served by a special team and support staff. Our staff incorporates technology to bring our services on the cutting edge of the 21st century.

We have two permanent facilities on in the Grand Rapid Metro region and the other in Detroit Metro region.
